Dorothy Yormack

MARYLAND — Dorothy Yormack, 96, formerly of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, in Rockville, Md.
She was born on Nov. 2, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Dorothy spent her 43 years of marriage to her beloved husband in Maine where they raised their family. Among their greatest pleasures were the summers spent at the family’s camp on Crescent Lake in Raymond. After the loss of her husband, Dorothy spent her later years in Boca Raton, Fla., and Rockville, Md.
She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Yormack. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Kimball, of East Brunswick, N.J., and Linda Small, of Bowie, Md.; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., in Temple Beth El Memorial Park, South Portland.
