BROWNFIELD — Donna M. McGonagle, 61, of Brownfield, went home to Our Lord on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, unexpectedly of sudden heart failure.

Donna was born in Melrose, Mass., on June 28, 1955. She was the daughter of Alphonse and Glenys Bruno and the oldest of nine children.

She survived by her husband Paul and their seven children, Patrick, Timothy, Erin Rollins, Paul, Ashlee, Nathan, Corey; and a stepdaughter Christina McGonagle. She also leaves behind her mother and father, three brothers, Lawrence Bruno, Andrew Bruno and Russell Bruno; five sisters, Christine Bruno, Lori Newell, Patsy Malaney, Julie Bruno and Monica Foster. Donna was also blessed to have had 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her extended family includes many brothers and sisters from the Church of Christ in Conway, N.H., where she has been a member for 27 years.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved life, her family and always had a smile for everyone. She loved to cook, collect bells and bears from wherever she visited, and had a profound love for QVC, thanks to her sister-in-law Jaime.

Donna worked for the MSAD 72 school district as the head cook in Denmark for 15 years, touching the lives of so many children, whom she loved.

At Donna's request, she was cremated and there will be no services. She wanted to be remembered as she was in life.

There will be a celebration of Donna's life ‪on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Conway Church of Christ, in Conway, N.H. Family and friends are all invited.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Fryeburg Rescue, The Oxford County Sheriffs’ Department and Woods Funeral Home for all their help and assistance.

In lieu of flowers Donna would have loved any donations in her memory made to the Conway Church of Christ, P.O. ‪Box 348, Conway, NH 03818.
