Donald R. Ryley Sr., 85

CASCO — Donald Roy Ryley Sr., 85, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at his home on Chickadee Lane.

He was born in Boston, Mass., a son of Arthur and Doris Ryley. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Donald was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and a Deacon at the Webb Mills Baptist Church.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Ann (Newman) Ryley. Surviving are his son Donald Ryley Jr. and his wife Kate (Dillon) Ryley of Waitsfield, Vt.; his daughter Debra Ryley of Sandwich, Mass.; his son David Ryley of Brookline, Mass.; cherished grandchildren, Jake Ryley and his wife Carla (Felice) Ryley, Mathew Ryley and his wife Julie (Polly) Ryley; adoring great-grandchildren, Emma, Maddie and Carley Ryley; his sister Evelyn Dennison; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 6, at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd. Casco. Interment will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhomeinc.com
