SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — Loving husband and phenomenal father, David Winfield Pride, passed away on June 7, 2012, in Summerville, S.C.

David grew up in Silver Spring, Md., attended Springbrook High School, and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.

David and Stacy’s celebration of marriage in Silver Spring, Md., was performed by his aunt, the Rev. Linda P. Jones.

All those who knew David were influenced by his infectious smile and the way that he celebrated life. The passion he had for shredding a tune on his six string and charming a room into laughter will never be forgotten.

His memory is kept alive by his wife, Stacy J. Pride; daughters, Kendall, age 19, and Kelsey, 16; his parents, Richard and Patricia Pride of Falmouth; his brother Mark Pride of Woodbridge, Va.; his sister Jennifer Pride Collins; a nephew; his aunt Linda Pride Jones and uncle James Jones of Raymond; his aunt Nancy Pride Weegar of Bridgton; and several cousins.
