David Garry

RAYMOND — David Michael Garry, 68, of Raymond, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 surrounded by family.

He was born in Mitchell, S.D. to James and Vi Garry.

David, while being a devoted father, also served his country in the United States Navy and retired at the rank of Master Chief after his 26 years of dedicated service. After his service, Dave and Maggie opened Thatcher's Restaurant as owners and operators with loving dedication to their customers and employees. They would like to thank all the Thatcher’s family for their many years of support.

David is survived by his wife, Margaret; her two children, Tammie Duncanson and Timothy Townsend; from a previous marriage; his children, Valerie Hillman, Lisa Boulley and Dawn Houle; sister Angel Fitch; brothers, John and Keith Garry; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham.
