David Ginzler

David Ginzler, 82, a resident of Bridgton, Maine, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, in The Villages, Florida, after a long and valiant fight with Parkinson’s disease. 

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Rosa Ginzler and his grandson, JoeRey Barrera. He also leaves three nephews: Martin, Harvey and Allen Drut.

David was born in Port Chester, N.Y., to Martin and Minna Ginzler. He attended schools in Hartsdale, N.Y., and graduated from New York University with a Masters in electrical engineering. David went on to increasingly responsible positions in the computer industry and resettled in Framingham, Mass. He was employed by Honeywell, Computer Control Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Prime Computer. He also started and ran a successful business, DataPartners, which provided network and software consulting and implementation. David and Phyllis bought a home in Bridgton, in 1980, and built a new one in 2006, to which they retired.

David will be missed by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal and true friend. He was a fisherman, a skier and a Harley rider. He loved his country and Maine. In his memory, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
