WINDHAM — Danny L. “Fishin’ Fool” Blake, 63, of Windham, died on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Portland on Jan. 3, 1950, the son of the late Mary (Lane) Blake and Roland B. Blake of Windham. Danny was raised in South Windham and was educated there. He worked many full- and part-time jobs growing up. Danny enjoyed trapping, hunting and most of all fishing all four seasons.

He worked at Deier Electric, Precious Metals, E.M. Solutions, and lastly at Lowe’s at the time of his death. Danny also worked at the Fryeburg Fair for the last 12 years, where he had extended family and friends. He loved working and being there, seeing all of the people. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Danny was predeceased by his mother, Mary (Lane) Blake; his uncle; and a sister, Rolene L. Frost.

Family members include his father, Roland B. Blake of Windham; his fiancée, Rebecca Martin of Windham; a son, Danny of Casco; a daughter, Jennifer of Raymond; brothers, Terry and Steven, both of Limington, and Scott of Windham; a sister, Peggy Bisco of Raymond; five grandchildren; and Rebecca’s son, Patrick.
