Daniel Dixon

CASCO — Daniel J. Dixon, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

He was the son of Patti Dixon of Casco and James Dixon of Limington. Dan was a kind hearted, fun loving son, brother, uncle and father who adored his family. He will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

Woodworking projects, sitting by a campfire, hunting and listening to music were just a few hobbies he enjoyed in life. Most of all as a child growing up, he had a passion and love for the game of baseball, which he was a lefthanded pitcher and could throw an 80-mph ball. He also loved to play ice hockey and spending time at the lake swimming and catching frogs. As he grew older he developed a real love for music and you would rarely see him without his head phones on. He loved to travel and loved spending the holidays with his family and sure loved his mom’s cooking.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Madison Levasseur of Bridgton; his sisters, Anita Dixon of Hampton, N.H. and Ashley Carl and her two children of Biddeford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on June 2, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Keely Banquet Center, 178 Warren Avenue, Portland.
