The following matters were taken up in Ninth District Court in Bridgton from December 25 through January 7, 2009:

Delia M. Gorham, 25, no hometown listed, had a civil charge of violating a parking ordinance on Oct. 5, 2009 in Fryeburg dismissed for an unspecified reason.

Timothy George Guffey, 37, of Hollis, had a charge of violation of a protective order on Sept. 4, 2009 in Bridgton transferred to the Cumberland County Unified Criminal Docket in Portland to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Thomas S. Hammond, 54, of Hiram, had a charge of speeding 30 miles per hour or more over the posted speed limit on Oct. 16, 2009 in Brownfield dismissed, in exchange for his guilty plea to another, unspecified, charge.

Paul Hunter, 22, of Denmark, had a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening on Aug. 1, 2009 in Denmark transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Richard E. Jones, 52, of Fryeburg, had a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant on Oct. 23, 2009 in Fryeburg transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Joshua E. Kilton, 30, of East Parsonsfield, had a charge of domestic violence assault on Dec. 2, 2009 in Parsonsfield transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Melissa Murch, 24, of Denmark, had charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and endangering the welfare of a child on Sept. 6, 2009 in Fryeburg transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Jed T. Rollins, 47, of Parsonsfield, had charges of assault, criminal mischief and violating a condition of release on Oct. 11, 2009 in Fryeburg transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

James H. Sweigart, 43, of Lovell, had charges of domestic violence assault and obstructing the reporting of a crime on Oct. 27, 2009 in Lovell transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.

Phillip M. Wilkins, 42, of Hiram, had charges of operating a motor vehicle while his driverÕs license was suspended or revoked and operating a motor vehicle without a driverÕs license on Oct. 4, 2009 in Brownfield transferred to Oxford County Superior Court in Paris to be scheduled for a trial by jury.
