DECEMBER 26 THROUGH JANUARY 3, 2009

FRYEBURG — The following is a partial listing of incidents handled by the Fryeburg Police Department from Dec. 26, 2009 through Jan. 3, 2010, as reported by Chief of Police Philip Weymouth:

Saturday, December 26: 7:30 a.m. A motor vehicle accident on Haleytown Road was investigated.

Sunday, December 27: 2:05 a.m. An officer responded to a disturbance on Ice House Road, and a report was taken.

7:30 a.m. An officer responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call on Birch Lane.

11:45 a.m. A motor vehicle accident on Fish Street was investigated.

9:14 p.m. A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Portland Street and Fish & Game Road was investigated.

10:45 p.m. A report of a suspicious person on North Fryeburg Road was taken care of by the responding police officer.

11:50 p.m. An 18-year-old male from Fryeburg was issued a summons for burglary, as the result of a follow-up investigation.

Monday, December 28: 1:30 a.m. An officer responded to a noise complaint on Smith Street.

3 a.m. An officer responded to a disturbance on Smith Street where a 20-year-old woman from Fryeburg was issued summonses for furnishing liquor to a minor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a minor possessing liquor. An 18-year-old was issued a summons for allowing a minor to consume liquor, and a 20-year-old male was issued a summons for allowing a minor to consume liquor, at the same location.

10:30 a.m. An officer responded to a burglary on Kimball Lake Shores Road.

4 p.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Elm Street and issued the operator, a 24-year-old man from Commerce, Ga., summonses for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and failing to make notification of a motor vehicle accident.

8:50 p.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Smith Street, and a report was taken.

Wednesday, December 30: 10:16 a.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 5 by Corn Shop Road.

6 p.m. A burglary on North Fryeburg Road was investigated.

7:30 p.m. An officer responded to a report of an assault on Birch Lane, and a report was taken.

2:45 p.m. An officer responded to a report of a subject who allegedly violated a protective order on Harbor Road, and a report was taken.

9:55 p.m. Fryeburg Police assisted the Fryeburg Fire Department on Haleytown Road.

Friday, January 1: 3:15 a.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Haleytown Road and issued a summons to a 25-year-old woman from Fryeburg for failing to make an oral or written accident report.

Saturday, January 2: 11:30 a.m. A motor vehicle accident in the Post Office parking lot on River Street was investigated.

2 p.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Fryeburg Road, and a report was taken.
