FRYEBURG — The following is a partial listing of incidents handled by the Fryeburg Police Department from January 18 through 24, 2010, as reported by Chief of Police Philip Weymouth:


Monday, January 18: 5:30 a.m. An officer responded to a non-reportable motor vehicle accident (involving less than $1,000 property damage) on Route 302.

6:50 a.m. An officer responded to a non-reportable motor vehicle accident on Portland Street.

5:32 p.m. A theft on Hemlock Bridge Road was reported, and a report was taken.

9:15 p.m. Unspecified juvenile offenses on Maple Street were reported, and peace was restored.

Tuesday, January 19: 7:09 a.m. Fryeburg Police assisted Fryeburg Rescue on Reisart Lane.

8:50 p.m. An officer responded to a non-reportable motor vehicle accident on Route 5.

Wednesday, January 20: 7:53 a.m. An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bridgton Road (Route 302) and Main Street (Route 5), and a report was taken.

1:55 p.m. A theft on Oxen Pull Road was reported, and a report was taken.

2:41 p.m. An officer responded to an unspecified complaint at Kimball Lake Shores, and a report was taken.

9:08 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. Unspecified complaints on Lovewell’s Pond Road were investigated.

Friday, January 22: 3:44 a.m. A burglar alarm at the animal shelter on Route 302 was investigated.

7:05 a.m. Juvenile offenses at Fryeburg Academy on Main Street were investigated, and a 16-year-old juvenile was issued summonses for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco products by a minor.

Saturday, January 23: 5:10 a.m. An officer responded to a burglar alarm at the animal shelter on Route 302, and the building was checked and secured.

8:15 a.m. A 9-1-1 hang-up call from Willow Lane was investigated.

7 p.m. An officer responded to a snowmobile complaint on Main Street, and a citation was issued.

8 p.m. Suspicious activity at the Forest Industries building on Fair Street was reported, and a 21-year-old man from Augusta was issued a summons for possession of a suspended or fictitious driver’s license.

9:48 p.m. An officer responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Route 302.

Sunday, January 24: 3:08 a.m. An officer responded to a burglar alarm at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at Fryeburg Academy on Bradley Street, and the building was checked and secured.

9:47 a.m. A burglar alarm at a business on Bridgton Road (Route 302) was investigated.

11:30 a.m. Criminal mischief at Forest Industries on Fair Street was investigated.
