BUZZARDS BAY, MASS. — Charlotte N. (Van Rose) Hubbard, 101, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Royal Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay, Mass.

Born in Brighton, Mass., on July 29, 1914, the daughter of the late May Alice (Brown) and Ralph Young, she was the wife of the late Thomas Morganti, the late Joseph Van Rose and the late George R. Hubbard.

She was a previous resident of Camden, where she graduated from high school, and Bridgton. For many years, Mrs. Hubbard was an LPN at Northern Cumberland Memorial Hospital in Bridgton, and was a member of the Bridgton Missionary Alliance Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, landscape artist and pianist.

She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis and her husband John Metros of Dracut, Mass., Jan and her husband Glen Stinson of Harrisburg, Pa., Dr. Alice Rose and her husband Dr. Peter Kelly of Casco, Janice Rose of Conway, N.H., and Glennis Van Rose of Onset, Mass. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, the late Joe Morgan.

Her funeral service was held on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at the Bay Community Alliance Church in Buzzards Bay, Mass. Interment was in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Mass.
