Caroline M. Thompson

BRIDGTON — Caroline M. Thompson, 98, of Harrison, formerly of New Jersey and Florida, passed away on Monday, Aug. 29 at Bridgton Hospital. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on Aug. 27, 1913, the daughter of George and Eva Wielgosz Kata. She had been employed by RCA as a semiconductor tester. She was a member of the Inverness Garden Club in Florida and the Society of the Lady of Fatima in New Jersey.

She is survived by two sons, William Cahill and his wife Susan, and George Cahill and his wife Molly; a daughter, Charlene Schieferstein and her husband Richard, with whom she resided; two grandsons, William and John and his wife Whitney; and two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Riley. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Aloysius Cahill; her second husband, John Thompson; and a grandson, Thomas Cahill.
