Caroline Brower, 56

NAPLES — Caroline Francis Gerow Brower, 56, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Born on Oct. 1, 1961, Carol will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend of over 33 years, Terry, and their children.

Carol worked at the Naples Post Office for 20-plus years. Time spent with family was always first, and friends were her second passion. Never a harmful word toward or about anyone did she ever speak, a true angel. Everyone loved her home-baked beans and enjoyed sitting by the pit fire with her telling stories, laughing so hard tears streamed down our cheeks. Every day, she loved to beat Terry at Yahtzee and other games. Her smile and warm hugs were given freely and frequently to everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Terrance Brower; her sons, Gary Burlock and Vernon Brower; her mother, Sally Shane; grandchildren, sisters, brothers, stepchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of Harrison Gerow.

At Carol’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers and cards, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to a cat refuge. Whenever you light a candle, think of Carol. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts.
