Carleen Vachowski

SCARBOROUGH — Carleen Marr Vachowski, 95, of Bridgton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.

She was born in Gardner, Mass., on March 14, 1922, to Myron L. and Florence (Whittier) Marr. She graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in Boston, and was the owner of Town and Country Clothiers.

She is survived by her children, Carol V. Chapman, and John M. Vachowski and wife Kathleen; grandchildren, Sarah Chapman Lufkin, Andrew Chapman and wife Leslee Peterson, Adam Vachowski and significant other Becky Shorey, and Aaron Vachowski and wife Cassie; great-grandchildren, Jacob Lufkin, Samuel Lufkin, Jacob Vachowski, Elsie Vachowski, Charlie Vachowski and Madison Vachowski. She was predeceased by her parents, Myron and Florence Marr; brothers, Kelsey Marr and Westford Marr, and her husband John.
