Brad was born in Waterville on Nov. 22, 1969, the son of Harvey Grant Higgins Jr. and Sheila (Hebert) Higgins. He attended school at Mt. View High School in Thorndike.

Brad enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a very talented artist.

Brad was looking forward to the time when this scripture at Isaiah 35:6 would be fulfilled, “At that time the lamb will leap like the deer, and the tongue of the speechless will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert plain.”

Brad also was looking forward to welcoming back his grandmother, Phyllis Higgins, whom he greatly missed, and remembered fondly.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. at Cole Farms Restaurant, 64 Lewiston Road, Gray.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 39 Mechanic Street #100, Westbrook, ME 04092.
