Bradford Lanoue, 68

Bradford Lanoue, 68, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Bridgton Health Care Center in Bridgton of complications from a bicycle accident in 2014.

Born in Weymouth, Mass., to Russell R. Lanoue and Jeanette L. Lanoue (Durgin), he lived in Braintree, Mass., until the age of 13, then moved to Santuit, Mass., and later to Marstons Mills, Mass.

Brad had many different jobs — caddy, greens keeper, property caretaker, machinist, farmer, cook, working on the railroad and B-bus driver. Bradford enjoyed summer and winter outdoor activities and tinkering with his 1983 Ford Ranger diesel pickup.

In 1987, he married Gail D. Marcus and lived in Hyannis, Mass., until 2003, when they moved to Denmark.

Besides his wife, Brad is survived by his father, Russell Lanoue; children Denise Ebig of Pa., Paul Lanoue of Marstons Mills, Mass., Heather Miller of Plymouth, Mass., Nicholas Marcus of West Yarmouth, Mass., and George Marcus of Brewster, Mass.; brother Richard Lanoue of Viera, Fla.; sister Nancy Minnigerode of Marstons Mills, Mass; and nine grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his mother; daughter, Dawn Lanoue; and a grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9 at John Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills, Mass., followed by a Masonic Burial at Mosswood Cemetery, 280 Putnam Avenue, Cotuit, Mass., given by Mariners Lodge, where Bradford was a past master.

Donations in Bradford’s memory may be made to the Maine Parkinson’s Association, 359 Perry Road, Bangor, ME 04401, and/or Bridgton Health Care Center, Activity Department, 186 Portland Street, Bridgton, ME 04009, where Bradford resided and was cared for and loved by many this past year.
