Bion H. Pike, 77

SOUTH WATERFORD — Bion H. Pike, 77, a resident of South Waterford, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
Bion was born in South Waterford on Oct. 13, 1937, a son of Lewis Pike and Marjorie Burnham.
He was a veteran of the Army. He enjoyed company, cooking, playing cards, working the hay fields, raising cows, and harness racing.
He was predeceased by his sisters Lorain Douglas and Diane Haynes.
He is survived by brother Conrad and his wife Pam; his sister Shirley Sanborn and husband Bruce; two sons, Bion Rusty Pike and wife Joan (York); Cris Royal and wife Linda (Bradford); and daughter Jennifer Finch (Wells); two grandsons; and three granddaughters. Also a stepson who worked with him for 44 years, Billy Loubier and his wife Jeanine (Waterford).
A celebration of Bion's life will be held in the spring. Memorial donations in Bion's memory may be made to the Androscoggin Hospice House, 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, ME 04210.
