Beverly R. Cox, 83

SEBAGO — Beverly R. Cox, 83, of Sebago, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017, surrounded by family.

Beverly was born in Cheshire, Connecticut, on Jan. 3, 1934, the daughter of George and Daisy Reinhard. Beverly moved to Naples with her family as a child, where she met her husband Richard. They were married for 57 years, and she passed on the same day as Richard, two years later.

Beverly worked for the Town of Sebago for 23 years as Town Clerk, Treasurer and Tax Collector. She was a member of the Sebago Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary and spent countless hours volunteering for Sebago Days. Beverly was also a very active member of her church, North Sebago United Methodist Church, where she was well-known for her homemade pies at church suppers. Beverly most enjoyed family gatherings, hosting many of them over the years. She and Richard enjoyed camping in Jackman. They operated a Christmas tree farm in Sebago in their retirement years.

She is survived by her children, Wendy Cox and John Mains of Naples, Darrell Cox and Tracy of Sebago, and Jeffrey Cox and Cindy of Sebago; four grandchildren, Justin Cox and his wife Bethany and great-grandson Jace, all of Naples, Aaron Cox, Lauren Cox and Jared Cox, all of Sebago; brothers, Brian Reinhard and Donald Reinhard of Naples, Marvin Reinhard of Baldwin and sister, Marilyn Wormwood of Westbrook. She was predeceased by her husband Richard and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the North Sebago United Methodist Church. Refreshments will be served immediately after the service. Burial will be private.
