EAST BALDWIN — Betty Mae (Boyle) Eyler, 49, of East Baldwin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Born in Portland on Sept. 11, 1965, Betty was the daughter of the late Francis and Patricia (Traynor) Boyle. Raised in the Greater Portland area, Betty was a graduate of Freeport High School, Class of 1983.

For over 25 years, Betty worked for Unum as a Business Analysis. It was at Unum where she made several lifelong friends.

Betty will best be remembered for her generous, fun loving and passionate personality. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She loved animals, karaoke and was a very good confidant. Above all else, Betty will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, who cared deeply for her daughters and always wanted the best for them.

She is survived by her daughters, Lizz Eyler and Ashley Eyler, both of Windham; her sisters, Susan Rock of Freeport, Cheryl Wallace of Portland, Shirley Boyle, Sandra Boyle, Sally Boyle of Brunswick and Kelly Schell of Hollis; several nieces, nephews and other close friends and extended family members.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 20 at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Her funeral was held on Saturday, March 21 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with burial following at Forest City Cemetery.
