Bertha B. Glazier

PORTLAND — Bertha B. Glazier, 75, of Portland, died on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at her home.
She was born in Portland on July 17, 1935, the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Smith) Glazier. Bertha worked as a housekeeper at numerous Portland hotels.
She enjoyed collecting magnets and amassed over 6,000 items, each individually numbered and cataloged. She also enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers, quilting and embroidering. She loved her family, pet cats, and was a good friend to all.
She was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan A. Cushman of Gorham and Millie P. Hatch of Bridgton; three sons, William E. McClellan of Portland, James F. McClellan of Westbrook and Theo A. Cook of Brunswick; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
