Barbara Inman

ALBANY — Barbara Stearns Inman, 87, of Albany, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at Stephens Memorial Hospital with family by her side.

She was born Aug. 11, 1929 to Edith (Cummings) and Hugh Stearns. Barbara graduated from Gould Academy with the Class of 1947. She married Howard Inman on May 22, 1948. He passed away on March 1, 2011.

Together, they ran their own business, Inman’s Garage in South Waterford for 25 years.

Besides her husband, Barbara is predeceased by a granddaughter.

Her immediate family members include her children, Andy of Nashua, N.H., Mike of Albany, Terry of Albany and Nita of Norway; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Janice Morrill.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 at Oxford Hills Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Oxford, where a memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
