Barbara E. Plummer

RAYMOND — Barbara E. Plummer, 88, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018.

She was born in Norway, a daughter of Wallace and Bessie Sargent. Barbara married Kenneth H. Plummer on Aug. 1, 1946. She worked at Sylvania in Standish, as well as Cole Farms in Gray. Barbara was a ballot clerk in Raymond for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 49 years; three brothers, Robert Sargent of Poland, Rodney Sargent of Lewiston and Richard of Auburn.

Surviving are four sons, Stephen of Norway, Timothy of Casco, Thomas of Casco and David of Raymond; two brothers, Stanley of Georgia and Roger of Raymond, N.H.; her sister, Marilyn Taylor of Lewiston; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
