CASCO — Annie M. Grant, 90, died peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011 at the Casco Inn Residential Care Facility.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1921, a daughter of Winifred and William Burnham. Annie graduated from Bridgton Academy in 1939 and enjoyed several different careers throughout her lifetime. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening and was a longtime active member of the Naples Garden Club. Annie was also a member of the American Legion, Naples Grange and many other groups. She spent winters in Florida until 1989 when she decided to return to her hometown of Naples to live year round.

She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Grant and her eight siblings.

Surviving are her son Ray W. Grant; her daughter Cecelia Chandler Termini; three grandchildren and her great-grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Murch Cemetery in South Casco.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Casco Inn Activity Fund, 434 Roosevelt Trail, Casco, ME 04015.
