Annie L. Trask

NORWAY — Annie Lillian Trask, 77, a resident of North Turner and most recently Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center in Norway, passed away Monday afternoon, Aug. 23, 2010.

She was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Livermore to George and Lillian (Merrill) Thompson, and attended schools in Livermore Falls. On Friday, Oct. 13, 1950, she married William “Bud” Trask. Early in their marriage, they resided in the Livermore area, but soon moved to North Turner where they resided the rest of their lives. They were married 56 years. She worked at several shoe shops in the Livermore area, for Corey Last Remodeling in Lewiston and Northland Apples of Turner. She was also a sales representative for StanHome Products and Sarah Coventry Jewelry, but for most of her life she enjoyed being a homemaker and wife as many ailments kept her close to home.

She enjoyed camping throughout the state with family, grandchildren and the dog. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and games, eating out and was an avid reader.
She is survived by three daughters, Gail of Fryeburg, Betty McLaughlin of Norway and Deanna Damon of North Turner; two brothers, Harlan Thompson of Jay and Ralph Thompson of Prescott, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband “Bud”; her parents; and her brother, Richard Thompson.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, Aug. 29, at the North Turner Cemetery, Route 219, North Turner.
