After 38 years of service, she retired as head nurse of the Cystoscopy OR Unit. Annette was very proud of her accomplished career as a nurse.

Annette touched the lives and hearts of many people; she was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a strong independent woman who raised six children on her own. Annette devoted her life to her children. She taught them all how to ski and they spent most winter weekends at her Sugarloaf camp. The Sugarloaf area was her refuge and one of her favorite places to be. She took many ski vacations with her children to Austria, Snowbird, Mt. Hood, Jackson Hole, Stowe and Lake Tahoe. She also traveled to France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Glacier National Park, Canada, Scottsdale and the Grand Canyon with her children. Annette thrived in the outdoors and loved gardening in her yard, planting trees, and stacking cords of wood. She loved the view of Mt. Washington and Tuckerman Ravine from her deck in Bridgton. Annette was also an avid golfer and a master knitter. She was a jack-of-all trades who would tackle any project she set her mind to. She continues to be loved and will be missed by all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She is predeceased by her sister Jeanine Fillion; and her brother Roger Letourneau.

Annette is survived by all of her children, Donna Dugal, James Dufresne, Ann Town, Ruth Dufresne, Rachel Dufresne and Mary Sauschuck; her four grandchildren and great-grandchild.
