Anna M. Stuart, 67

WINDHAM — Anna Mae Stuart, 67, died on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Portland.

She was born in Milford, Conn., on June 30, 1948, daughter of Lloyd Burtsell and Kathleen (Plummer) Burtsell.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cheering them on during their various activities. She loved attending the Cumberland Fair to watch the horse pulling and entering her canned goods, for which she won numerous ribbons. She had a great sense of humor and everyone will remember her always having a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Ann is survived by her sons Steven and his wife Michelle, and Keith and his wife Sherie; her longtime partner Gus Wilson; her grandchildren, Tyler and Paige McVey, Tucker and Keegan Wilson, Amanda Blake and Alivia, Owen and Tyler Stuart; her brother George Archer; and her sister Donna Cyr Pelletier. She will also be greatly missed by Becky and Jason McVey, and Gary and Karen Wilson, who were family in every sense of the word.

A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Spring Meadows Golf Club, 59 Lewiston Road, Gray.
