Ann Hutchins

LOVELL — Ann Marie Hutchins, 66, of Lovell, passed away at her home on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

She was born in Somerville, Mass. on Sept. 24, 1949, a first generation Irish girl. Ann was the daughter of Bridie and Jeremiah Sullivan. A single mom of two girls in the 80s, Ann put herself through college to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Ann discovered her calling early in her career and specialized in home health hospice care. In 1991 the Hutchins moved from Framingham, Mass., to Bridgton, where Ann began her career with Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice. Passionate about her patients and their families, Ann was awarded the Androscoggin Home Health Employee of the Year twice, as well as numerous recognitions and awards. She also served on the Ethics committee for her Home Health organization.

Ann loved travel, visiting her ancestral home in Ireland several times. Price and Ann’s road trips across the country were a source of great togetherness for them. Camping with Ann was always sure to provide stories for a lifetime. She was active in Bridgton’s First Congregational Church, loved Moose Pond, Shawnee Peak, and Rangeley.
