YARMOUTH — Andrew Parent, Sr., 71, of Denmark died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at Brentwood Manor.

He was born in Cumberland, R.I. on June 21, 1940, the son of Thomas and Ida Jakes Parent. He served in the Army National Guard and married Irene L. Esperance. He had been a wire drawer for Texas Instruments for 31 years. He was a past commander of the local American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of Denmark; two daughters, Debbie Entenmann and Michele McMahann; two brothers, Al Parent and Ed Parent; and three sisters, Theresa Mercier, Joan Perry and Shirley Blanchette.

He was predeceased by a son, Andrew Parent, Jr.

A memorial service was held at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 8 Elm Street, Bridgton.
