PORTLAND — Amy Smith Roesch of Gorham died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at Maine Medical Center.

Born in Poland, N.Y., Amy was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Aldrich) Smith. She graduated from Buffalo State Teacher’s College, Class of 1943. She married Harry R. Roesch Jr. on Feb. 14, 1948. He predeceased her on March 2, 1991.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Gouterman of Denmark; her son, Harry R. Roesch III of Belleville, Mich.; her two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
