CASCO — Alfred Leo Butler III, 54, of Casco, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at his home.

Alfred was born on Dec. 14, 1959, in Melrose, Mass., the son of the late Alfred Butler Jr. and Elaine Butler of Kennebunk. He then went on to attend Austin Preparatory School in Redding, Mass. After graduating, he earned an associate’s degree in pipefitting and refrigeration, and started working at HVAC Airtemp Comfort Systems, USA, where he worked for 26 years.

In his down time, Alfred enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and any outdoor activities. He also loved spending time with his family.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Laura Ann Butler; his three children, Kim Butler, Brian Butler and Adam Butler; four siblings, Leanne Butler, Michael Butler, Paul Butler and Denise Elliot; and several aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews; and cousins.

Alfred was predeceased by a brother, Brian Butler.

A celebration of life will be held at the Masonic Hall, 964 River Road, Windham, on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Advantage Funeral Cremation Services.
