SCARBOROUGH — Agatha Hilary (Cummings) Rogers, 84, of Howland, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014.

She was the wife of the late Maurice Cummings, to whom she was married for 49 years, and the late Rev. Calvin Rogers, to whom she was married to for seven years.

She was born in Lagrange on Feb. 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Lester and June (Ireland) Sawyer.

Agatha was an ordained minister and founding member of the Deliverance Center in Portland, where she was a teacher of their Bible College for many years. She was also a member of Full Gospel Assembly in Lagrange.

She is survived by her children, Maurice Cummings of Berwick, Donna Small of Commerce, Ga., Sandra Morgan of Pownal, and Donald Cummings of Baldwin; her stepchildren, James Rogers, Timothy Rogers and Cynthia Mattson, all of Old Orchard Beach; as well as her brother, Maynard Sawyer of Lincoln; her sister, Veronica of Augusta; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Deliverance Center, 1008 Congress Street, Portland. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014, at 1 p.m., at Goulds Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag, with the Rev.
