Aaron Bennett

FRYEBURG — Aaron A. Bennett, 48, of Fryeburg, passed suddenly on Sunday, September 7, 2014.

Aaron was born June 21, 1966, to Alan and Nettie (Kimball) Bennett, of Lovell. He graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1984 with honors. He went on to graduate from CMVTI before joining his father at Bennett Transportation. In 1994, Aaron purchased the business from his father, being the third generation of Bennetts to operate this family business. Bennett Transportation has served the MSAD 72 school district for over 50 years. In business, Aaron was well-respected and loved by his employees and colleagues.

Aaron had many passions in life. He loved hunting, fishing and boating. His ultimate passion was building and operating performance vehicles, and dreamed of owning his own drag racing car and team.

What Aaron loved most in life was his family. He enjoyed many summer barbecues at the lake with them.

Aaron is survived by his parents; sister Amber Dalton and her husband Darrell; daughter Bethany Bennett, son William Bennett and his wife Samantha, and their mother Rebecca Bennett; and fiancé Stacie Verrill-Leavitt and her sons Brady and Jackson. He is also survived by his loyal companion, Buddy.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Riverside Cemetery in North Fryeburg. A gathering to celebrate his life will follow immediately at Aaron's home.
